Almost Galactic
Last weekend I tried Salvia Extract for the first time. I had smoked the leaves before, but the effects I got were mild at best, my friend had told me that the extract is a lot stronger, so I ordered some online and decided to save it for the right time. Boy did I ever pick the right time.
I was on a camping trip when I figured that it would be cool to try it. I had brought it along, as well as some beer and weed, but I wanted to try it on it's own, so the first night I passed on it, but the entire night I was thinking about it, perhaps even a little apprehensively. I've been told how intense this stuff can be, so I was a little worried, but at the same time pretty excited.
Anyway, the the next night I waited until dark, when all the stars came out and brought out my pipe. I packed a small bowl and lit it up, I took a few deep tokes and held them in. I was expecting it to hit right away, but I didn't feel anything at first, besides a strange sensation that felt like my body was being pulled through the eye of a needle, if that makes sense.
I was a little disappointed, so I packed another bowl, and just as I was about to light it, the extract hit me like a ton of bricks. It felt like I had been forcibly ejected from my body, and I lost all sense of individuality.
I felt like I was everything. The trees, the sky, the stars. I saw lights in the sky that weren't there before, as if creation had opened up it's secrets to me. My friends told me that I just sat there, staring at the sky with my jaw on the floor.
I was just staring at the sky. It was like a swirling fireworks show that had a deep meaning that only I understood. It all made a strange kind of sense, as if what I was seeing was the truth behind a world that itself was a hallucenation.
I remember something was telling me to follow it, I got up and started following the force. It wasn't a voice so much as a feeling that I'm supposed to go there.
From what I was told, I started stumbling out of the campsite towards the woods, my friends were trying to convince me to come back, but I don't even remember them being there. They ended up trying to hold me back, but I kept ignoring them, I was engrossed in another world.
I remember hearing a low rumble which slowly got louder, it slowly started sounding like voices, and soon I started to come to, my friends were yelling at me telling me to stay put and holding me against a tree.
It was an amazing experience, more than anything else I've tried. It didn't just change my perceptions, it was like it actually changed reality. Everything I saw was so real. I'd definitely try it again.
