Herb supplements will enhance the life and the general health of the person who uses them. They offer a better lifestyle and provide a series of solutions for today's ailments, like lack of sleep, stress, weakness, sexual potency, younger appearance or longer life. It's nothing new, Chinese and Tibetan cultures have used ginseng for ages, and was more appreciated than gold. Black cohosh, Ephedra, ginseng, Kava and many others should not be used while on medications. Kava is under investigation for liver damage and should not be taken frequently. Some supplements contain a "cocktail" of herbs, along with vitamins, minerals and other ingredients, be sure to know what percentage and doses are contained of each and what the supplement should accomplish; softer skin, for example. They improve wellness but are not a substitute for a healthy meal, if you experience any side effects or do not feel the benefits, discard use. Some can act as antioxidants, others take into account feelings, soul and mind that are often neglected by modern science.
